Classification:

Silicone products can be divided into three categories according to the different molding processes
1. Molded silicone
Molded silicone products are usually formed by putting solid silicone raw materials with vulcanizing agents into a high-temperature mold and applying pressure through a vulcanizing machine, and high-temperature sulfur is solidified. The hardness of molded silicone is usually 30°C-70°C. The raw materials are matched with the color paste to adjust the color according to the Pantone color card number. The shape of the mold determines the shape of the molded silicone product. The molded silicone product is currently the most widely used in the silicone industry. Mainly used for silicone industrial accessories, buttons, silicone gifts, silicone bracelets, silicone watches, key cases, mobile phone sets, silicone kitchen utensils, silicone mats, ice trays, cake molds, etc.

2. Extrude silicone
Extruded silicone products are usually formed by extruding silicone through extrusion machines. Generally, the shape of extruded silicone is long, and the tubular shape can be cut at will. However, the shape of extruded silicone has limitations and is widely used in medical equipment and food machinery. use.

3. Liquid silicone
Liquid silicone products are injection-molded through silicone injection molding. The products are soft and the hardness can reach 10°-40°. Because of their soft characteristics, they are widely used in simulating human organs, medical silicone chest pads, and so on.

4. Special products
Special silica gel products are based on the chemical properties of silica gel or the addition of some auxiliary raw materials. Special silica gel products can also have high temperature resistance (up to 330 degrees), food grade (fully in line with US FDA, LFGB standards), medical grade, flame retardant grade. , By adding auxiliary raw materials, it can also have the characteristics of luminous, negative ions, discoloration, etc.
