Organic silicone has properties such as temperature resistance and aging resistance. Transparent silicone products will not turn yellow even if they are stored for a few years. What causes such a difference?



1. Vulcanizing agent:
Ordinary non-yellowing vulcanizing agents have different effects on brighter colors and lighter or transparent colors. When ordinary vulcanizing agents are used, light or transparent silicone products can be obviously turned yellow.

2. Production process:
When transparent silicone products are molded, because the machine temperature is too high or the vulcanization time is too long, it is easy to cause the silicone products to turn yellow after molding, so the temperature and vulcanization time of the mold must be strictly controlled.

3. Raw materials:
If anti-yellowing vulcanizer is added to the raw materials, and the transparent silicone products still turn yellow after molding, it should be that the anti-yellowing ability of the raw materials is too poor, you can consider changing the raw materials.
