The occurrence of missing corners and materials in the production process of silicone products is a problem that many silicone product manufacturers will encounter. Understanding that the most common factors that may lead to this situation in the future are often human factors, such as the way materials are placed, the weight control of raw materials, and so on.
The reasons for the shortage of materials and corners in silicone products:
1.The most serious reason is the incorrect placement of materials
For products with a middle plate mold core, sometimes it is necessary to place the rubber material up and down, and if the number of mold holes is too deep or too complex, it needs to be slightly heavier than the original plan. Placement is the most important thing, so while placing, you can imagine how to place it to make the rubber vulcanization more comprehensive and ensure that there is no shortage of materials or corners.
2. Machine mold issues.
During the vulcanization process, the pressure needs to be adjusted properly, otherwise not only will there be a shortage of materials, but there may also be immature phenomena. During the mold closing process, the exhaust cannot be discharged, resulting in air pockets and material shortages.
3. The high mold temperature causes the rubber material to burn to death, the fluidity of the raw materials is poor, and the product cannot be vulcanized on time.
Solution to shortage of materials and corners in silicone products:
1. Place the raw materials in a relatively central position, and if you need to place them up and down, step by step.
2. If the mold is unreasonable, modifying it can ensure that the rubber material and mold are properly matched, and adding more exhaust slots for exhaust.
3. The material placement method is incorrect. The method of changing the material placement method is to increase the weight of the raw material. If the raw material vulcanizing agent fails after being left for more than three days, it must be re mixed to meet the flow requirements, ensuring complete vulcanization. The mold pressure and temperature adjustment should be appropriate, and the personnel operation methods should be correct.
The molding process of silicone products is a complex process, so do not compete with output and speed. First, do it well and then do it quickly. Otherwise, if there are too many defective products, it will be a waste of effort.
