The project belongs to the field of forest pest control science and technology, involving knowledge of forestry, biology and other disciplines. This paper reveals the mechanism of major insect disasters from multiple levels and perspectives, develops eight functional, efficient and practical insect inducers and application technology parameter sets, overcomes the identification problem of similar background color of desert shrubbery caused by borer pests, and establishes and integrates the prevention and control technology system and mode of major insect disasters in shrubbery such as seabuckthorn, Artemisia, Salix and Caragana. It is at the international leading level in the occurrence mechanism of insect disaster, development and application of insect inducers, remote sensing monitoring and insect disaster control. Through large-scale demonstration and promotion, remarkable disaster prevention and ecological benefits have been achieved, and the technical level of forest pest control in China has been improved.
