1、 School profile
Nanjing Forestry University is a provincial key university jointly built by the central government and local governments, and was selected into the list of national "double first-class" construction universities in 2017. Formerly known as the Department of forestry of Central University and the Department of forestry of Jinling University, Nanjing Forestry University was incorporated in 1952 and renamed Nanjing Forestry University in 1985.
The school has Nanjing campus and Huai'an campus. Nanjing campus is located in No. 159 Longpan Road, the main urban area of Nanjing. Huai'an campus is located in Huai'an Higher Education Park, No.1, Meigao East Road.
2、 Professional introduction
The school has a long history of art disciplines, strong teachers and excellent teaching conditions, and has the right to grant master's degree in the first level discipline (Design) of art disciplines. In 2020, the university will enroll undergraduate students in accordance with the major category of "design science" (Huai'an campus only enrolls students in Jiangsu Province).
The major category of "design science" covers six categories and directions of art enrollment, including environmental design, environmental design (Interior Design), visual communication design, public art, digital media art and product design. Students are required to fill in the application form according to the "design study". After entering the University, they are required to carry out a large-scale training program. One year later, they will be divided into specific majors according to the students' wishes, academic achievements and specialty. Huai'an campus adopts the "2 + 2" training mode: first and second year students study in Huai'an campus, third and fourth year students study in Nanjing campus.
1. Environmental design
This major is mainly engaged in the overall planning and design of environment and architectural art, the planning and design of environmental space, grasping the close relationship between environment, city, architecture and other related factors, paying attention to the organic combination of natural environment and human environment, and Cultivating Contemporary Environmental art design talents with innovative thinking and practical design ability.
2. Environmental design (Interior Design)
In the design industry system, the specialty connects architecture design upward, and covers furniture, lighting, soft decoration and other design fields downward. The purpose of this paper is to train compound innovative talents who can comprehensively solve the problems of interior space, function, material, technology, lighting and soft decoration based on various specific needs by systematic design theory teaching and continuous and in-depth design skill training for students.
3. Visual communication design
This major is based on the cultural and creative industries, brand enterprises, advertising industry and the expansion of design services to transport application-oriented talents with planning, creativity, design and implementation capabilities. Students should be proficient in using visual communication design language and methods, and have professional knowledge and application ability in visual creativity and expression, visual culture and promotion, brand creativity and planning, advertising design and production, visual image design, etc.
4. Public art
This major studies and studies all kinds of public art theories and practical knowledge, including public art noumenon form, art form, creation form, method skill and aesthetic consciousness. Cultivate excellent talents with solid comprehensive quality ability of aesthetic appreciation, artistic modeling, creative creation, environmental design, etc.
5. Digital media art
Based on the digital media industry and cultural creative industry, this major provides applied talents with the ability of digital media art planning, creativity, design and production in the fields of radio and television, film and television media, animation games, network media, digital art development and design services.
Note: students who are divided into the above five majors are trained in the school of art and design.
6. Product design
The students trained in this major have solid design basic knowledge, advanced design concept, keen artistic perception, skilled design expression ability, rigorous logic analysis ability, basic theoretical knowledge and application ability of product design, and can be engaged in industrial product design, home product design, product interaction design, etc. in enterprises and institutions, professional design departments, scientific research institutions Senior applied design talents related to design work.
Note: students who are divided into this major are trained in the College of home furnishing and industrial design.
3、 Enrollment plan
The university has 4-year undergraduate education system in arts. Nanjing campus enrolls students from some provinces in China and Huai'an campus only enrolls students from Jiangsu Province. The details are subject to the number of enrollment plans published by the provincial (District, city) examination institutes.
4、 Tuition standard
The tuition fees for art majors of the University shall be in accordance with the document of Jiangsu Provincial Price Bureau (SJF [2014] No. 136), and the charging standard is 6800 yuan / person / year.
5、 Application conditions
1. It meets the requirements of the national college entrance examination and the provincial (District, city) art entrance examination in 2020, and has a certain art foundation.
2. The physical condition is in line with the relevant provisions of the guiding opinions on physical examination for enrollment of ordinary colleges and universities. The candidates with color blindness and color weakness should not apply for the art major of Nanjing Forestry University.
6、 Admission principles
1. Nanjing Forestry University only recognizes the results of the provincial (District, city) general examination for art majors. Candidates must take the provincial (District, city) general examination for art majors and pass the examination according to the relevant regulations of the province (District, city).
2. Candidates' cultural score and art major score are all up to the corresponding batch of undergraduate colleges and universities' art major admission control score line designated by the student source province (District, city). If the student source province (District, city) has fixed filing rules, it shall be admitted according to the fixed Filing Rules; if the student source province (District, city) has no clear provisions, it shall be admitted according to the comprehensive score [comprehensive score = professional score (unified examination score) + cultural score + bonus (provincial policy bonus)] from high to low. In the case of the same ranking results, those with high cultural scores will be admitted first. If they are still the same, they will be admitted from high to low according to the scores of Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages.
