A hundred years of repair can be done by boat, and a thousand years of repair can be done by a house.
University dormitories are a magical place, and there are always a variety of learning stories. Beijing Forestry University is surprised to see "learning dominates dormitories". Today, we invite them to share their stories.
This dorm is really "the dorm of other people's home". Four girls are ACG students. They can eat by their faces, but only rely on their talents. They are proud of the top universities in Britain, such as Edinburgh, Kingston, AA and so on. They are worthy of the "office gathering place".
I don't want to say much. Let's briefly introduce the hero of our group visit!

There is a specialty in the art industry. Let's talk about the specialty first
Q: What's the reason why you chose the current major?
Classmate T: first of all, I am very interested in interior design. I like painting since I was a child. When I grow up, I like to go to different places to observe the local architecture and wonder about the form of its internal space. Secondly, I personally think that interior design is not only to design the internal environment of the building for the people living in the space, but also to explore the different possibilities of living or using, emphasizing the space experience of people, the behavior of people in the space, rather than the interior and exterior surface design. So I also want to explore the interior space to make my own interesting design.

Classmate R: art creation is instinct for me. Animation is a medium to express my feelings and communicate with my soul. I like its free expression and multi-media attempt. This creation process is originally interesting. I like the process of giving material life, breaking and recombining things that are not in accordance with the laws of nature, and making cold things burst out with strong emotions, which is also the process of the birth of an animation. Feel the breath and heartbeat to present different thoughts in the most arbitrary way.

Q: Can you share your favorite designers or works?
Classmate M: David Hockney and Monet, I got a lot of inspiration about color from their works. And rob Ruppel, I met him through the scene design of spider man: parallel universe and zima blue, and I like the way he created the scene.
Spider Man: parallel universe
Classmate T: I like the work of big office very much. It's not because the architecture they designed is so cool, but because their design concept is similar to my view on design. They advocate "yes is more." more specifically, they pursue a better "dream" through the concept of happy sustainable development. The representative design of big, Mager Bakke waste to energy, has brought their concept to the extreme. It is a public building integrating waste incineration station and public ski resort, and can convert waste into energy after incineration. They dare to try and explore to make a good "Utopia" possible. I also prefer to believe that design should not only satisfy the current life, but also lead the life.

It's not easy to apply for creation
Q: What preparations have been made in the application process? How to get inspiration?
Classmate T: the most important thing in the application process is the collection of works, which is also the most time-consuming effort. I have done five projects in total. In addition, there are language tests, document preparation and guarantee that their academic achievements meet the standards of the applying institutions.

I got inspiration from the following three aspects: first, I observed interesting things in my life and recorded or photographed them; second, I often went to optimistic exhibitions, such as many art galleries in Beijing often have new exhibitions, which are very good resources; third, I collected some inspiration and information through design websites.
Classmate L: the most useful preparation is to take each assignment seriously during the undergraduate period. In addition to the inspiration website, the teachers in the studio have provided me with a lot of inspiration, which often makes me feel suddenly enlightened. Especially miss Xing, when there is no inspiration, it's right to find Miss Xing.

Q: Which one is more satisfied in the project or work? Let's talk about the inspiration, creation process, etc?
Classmate L: Yongdong deductive method. This is a pit reconstruction project, which uses the concept of "perpetual motion machine". Combined with wind energy and some schemes of perpetual motion machine, a geological research institute is designed in the pit that will never stop rotating. You can think of it as a land art, a large scale installation, and of course, a building.

The project took about half a year, and it was very difficult to produce. Because the transmission between spaces involves the mechanical principle, when I do this project, I have studied almost all the perpetual motion schemes that can be found on the network once.
Classmate T: in fact, I am quite satisfied with most of the projects. My favorite is the floating jellyfish tide detection center. The earliest inspiration comes from the sea, because I was born in the coastal city of Shenzhen, and I often go for a walk by the sea. Once I saw the ebb and flow, I suddenly wanted to do a sustainable development project related to tidal energy. So I brainstormed, using jellyfish as a bionic object, to study the relationship between jellyfish and the ocean. In the aspect of architectural form, the characteristics of reference jellyfish are combined with specific design; in the aspect of energy utilization, the existing methods of detecting tidal energy are studied and combined.

The part of research costs a lot of energy, because it needs to consult a lot of literature, learn relevant excellent design methods, think and try again, and finally integrate into their own works. Of course, the whole process can not be without the careful guidance of teachers, so that my thinking is more clear.
Classmate M: in fact, I don't think I'm most satisfied with it. It's probably my independent project "line". Because its concept of works has been very mature, so the space for the screen to play will be more free.

The initial idea is: the source of self-motivated behavior, whether the behavior is driven by the heart or by the outside. I have created some concept maps based on this. Then gradually reduce the target group, turn to the phenomenon of the influence of network public opinion on passers-by groups.
Classmate R: my favorite work is tree hole, because it is the most mature work of thinking and theme. The inspiration comes from my dream forest. It's also my analysis of my own emotions. The creation process is relatively long, because I've been thinking about how to present my ideas. At last, I decided to present them in the traditional two-dimensional animation style, and integrated the feeling of hand painting.

Q: In the process of creation, what challenging problems have you encountered? How to overcome it?
Classmate L: the biggest challenge should be the change of thinking. Undergraduate learning requires landing and commerciality, as well as social rules such as cost and safety standards. The collection of works requires imagination and concept. When divergent thinking, I always involuntarily consider the standards of safety and cost, so at the beginning, Mr. Xing often said that I was not creative enough···

Classmate T: when it comes to the most challenging project, it should be my installation project - Qi. Because I have done many experiments in finding the most suitable expression of "Qi" in oriental philosophy. At that time, all the materials that could be thought of were tried, such as dry ice, smoke machine, shed, acrylic box, etc., but the result was always unsatisfactory, so the project fell for a month.

Later, after discussions with the teacher, a new round of experiments was carried out. Finally, we decided to express the abstract "Qi" with smoke machine sprays, and then use the spliced acrylic boxes to express the existing entities in contrast. This project is the most tiring. First of all, it takes time and effort. A dozen acrylic boxes are very heavy. It takes a whole day to glue them one by one and then hang them up.

In this process, the friends who made the works together helped me carry the heavy devices all the time, which was really very moving. The second is the bottleneck of design, which is why we have done so many experiments and tried different materials and forms, but finally, under the guidance and Inspiration of teachers, we successfully completed the project. And my parents will always encourage me and give me positive energy. Thank you for your help and support.

Classmate R: the main challenge is the way to achieve the work. Because of the limitations of some venues and equipment, I have to try my best to achieve some pictures of the work. Of course, the application of technology is not a small problem, but it is not difficult to solve. It takes a lot of time to figure out a story script and characters repeatedly to find a more appropriate way to express.

Ha ha, with a strong will to insist, because the production of two-dimensional works is more consumption, a person to complete a four to five minute animation is very time-consuming, the solution is to rely on the love of the work, keep doing it, watch some positive energy video to make yourself more energetic, Ollie gives.
Q: Is there anything interesting to share in the application process?
Classmate T: there are many interesting things. During the summer vacation, I will brush the night with my friends in ACG to make a collection of works. Everyone is very friendly and hard-working, helping and cheering each other. When you are tired of doing the collection, you will also participate in activities to relax. At that time, I thought it was a very happy time when I was tired of working on the collection. Also like last December, I was very impressed by the interview of Lun Yi. Because it was a face-to-face interview, I was very nervous. When it was my turn, it was more than five o'clock in the afternoon. To be honest, I was a bit numb, but I was still in control. I was more fluent in answering questions and got the first offer. Everything was quite smooth.
▲ t students' daily life
Classmate L: Um... It's about arguing with the examiner during the interview and persuading him to give me an offer.
Classmate M: for emmm's interesting story, it seems that the late offer came later, so I was worried for several times, which led to my uneasy mood when I was studying IELTS. The offers I came to didn't have interviews were all direct recordings.

What kind of experience is ACG for all staff
Q: How to understand the ACG, what is the reason for choosing ACG to assist your application?
Classmate R: I saw the recommendation with my roommates on campus. After learning about it, I think that crouching tiger, hidden dragon, the teacher of ACG, is very powerful, especially like little pumpkin teacher,
