Forming method
Liquid silicone is injection-moulded liquid silicone rubber (LSR): full name is injection-moulded liquid silicone rubber, vulcanization equipment is injection moulding machine.
Injection moulding machine has a very simple process (no need for high temperature rubber process ingredients, refining, cutting, laying and other manual processes, just one worker to take products), high product accuracy (before moulding all engineering procedures were replaced by machines), high output (A/B rubber mixing at a certain temperature for a few seconds into). It has many advantages, such as saving people, electricity and materials. It can produce all high temperature rubber products.
Solid silica gel forming is made of solid materials. After mixing with the mixer, the cutting machine cuts the product into the appropriate size and thickness of the die, and then puts it into the die. The die is pressed at a certain temperature under the press forming machine. The demoulding process is similar to that of plastic products, and it also needs to be cleaned up.
How to distinguish liquid silica gel from solid silica gel products
The liquid silica gel products have high transparency and no odor, and the products have injection mouths.
Solid silica gel products have low transparency, aroma of vulcanizing agent or other covering vulcanizing agent, and no injection port.
