We all know
that both the cold shrinkage pipe and the heat shrinkage pipe belong to the
insulating pipe. The cold shrinkage insulating pipe and the heat shrinkage
insulating pipe are believed to have been known in the previous articles. So
today we will talk about the difference between the cold shrinkage pipe and the
heat shrinkage pipe.
The
difference between cold shrinkage tube and heat shrinkage tube is that the use
scope of cold shrinkage tube is relatively narrow for heat shrinkage tube, and
its function is not as strong as that of heat shrinkage tube, but it can not be
compared with other insulating materials in the communication industry.
The
difference between cold shrinkage tube and heat shrinkage tube is as follows:
1. The use principle of heat shrinkage tube is different from that of heat
shrinkage tube. Heat shrinkage tube is based on the principle of radiation
expansion, while cold shrinkage tube is based on the principle of expansion
support, heat shrinkage tube belongs to chemical reaction, and cold shrinkage
tube belongs to physical reaction. 2. Heat-shrinkable pipes of similar
specifications are cheaper than cold-shrinkable pipes because raw materials are
relatively cheap. 3. Heat shrinkable pipes are widely used and widely used,
mainly for wire connection, solder joint protection, wire harness at the end of
the wire, protection of electronic devices and insulation treatment. 4. The
cold-shrinkable pipes with poor quality may burst due to high or low
temperature or turbulence in the transportation process, and the biggest risk
of heat-shrinkable pipes is that the temperature may shrink above 70 degrees.
5. There are many materials for heat-shrinkable pipes, such as silicone rubber,
polyethylene, PVC, ferrofluorone, fluororubber and so on. At present, only
silicone rubber and EPDM are used for cold-shrinkable pipes.
The
difference between cold shrinkage tube and heat shrinkage tube: the biggest
advantage of cold shrinkage tube is that it does not need fire to heat and
shrink. It has absolute advantage in working at high altitude. Because of its
special principle, it is very suitable for outdoor use. It is widely used in domestic
mobile, Unicom and telecommunication tower feeders. It has excellent aging,
corrosion resistance, ultraviolet radiation resistance and waterproof
performance. The heat-shrinkable pipe must be heated and contracted by means of
heating tools.
