1. Methyl RTV silicone rubber


Methyl RTV silicone rubber is an old type of general silicone rubber, which has the advantages of water resistance, ozone resistance, arc resistance, corona resistance and weather aging resistance. It can be used in the temperature range of 60-200 ℃. Therefore, it is widely used as filling and sealing materials for electronic and electrical components, moisture-proof, shockproof, high and low temperature resistant filling and sealing materials for instruments. It can also be used to make molds for casting polyester resin, epoxy resin and low melting point alloy parts. It can also be used as dental impression material. Methyl RTV silicone rubber is coated on cotton cloth and paper bag, which can be made into conveyor belt and packing bag for conveying sticky goods.


2. Room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber


Besides the excellent properties of RTV silicone rubber, RTV silicone rubber has a wider temperature range (- 100-250 ℃) than RTV silicone rubber. The low phenyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (108-1) with 2.5-5% phenyl content can keep elasticity at - 120 ℃, which is one of the best silicone rubber at medium and low temperature; The room temperature adhesive (108-2) with 10-20% phenyl content has good radiation resistance, ablation resistance and self quenching performance. If a certain amount of heat-resistant additives such as Fe2O3 are added into the adhesive, the thermal aging performance can be improved. It is suitable for use at high temperature above 250 ℃ or as ablation resistant putty coating and sealing materials.


Like other room temperature adhesives, methylphenyl room temperature adhesives can be used for impregnation, impression and film removal. If you want to increase the adhesion with other materials, you must carry out surface treatment on the adhered materials before using the materials. The steps of surface treatment are as follows: clean the surface of the materials with acetone solvent for 1-2 times, then treat the materials with surfactant for 1-2 times, and dry them in an oven at 60 ℃ for several minutes. At this time, a film with little adhesion on the surface of the materials can be glued.


3. Methyl block RTV silicone rubber


Methyl block room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is a modified variety of methyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber. It is a copolymer of polydimethylsiloxane (107 rubber) with hydroxyl head and methyl triethoxysilane oligomer (molecular weight 3-5). Under the catalysis of dibutyl tin dilaurate, the hydroxyl group in polydimethylsiloxane and the ethoxy group in polydimethyltriethoxysilane condense to form a three-way structure polymer. The elastomer after vulcanization has higher mechanical strength and adhesion than that of methyl RTV silicone rubber, and can be used for a long time in the temperature range of - 70-200 ℃.


Methyl block RTV silicone rubber has the properties of shockproof, moisture-proof, waterproof, breathable, ozone resistant, weather aging resistant, weak acid and alkali resistant. It has good electrical insulation, good adhesion and low cost. Therefore, it can be widely used in filling, coating, impression, demoulding, drug carrier release and other occasions. The electronic components filled with methyl block room temperature glue have the functions of shockproof, dampproof, sealing, insulation and stabilizing various parameters. When methyl block room temperature adhesive is directly applied to the loudspeaker, the mid-range points of the loudspeaker can be reduced and eliminated, and the resonance frequency performance of the loudspeaker can be reduced by about 20 Hz after vulcanization. The methyl block room temperature adhesive can be used as a paper anti adhesion agent after adding a certain amount of additives. After a thin layer of methyl block room temperature glue is coated on the candy and biscuit conveyor belt in the food industry, the anti sticking property of canvas can be improved, thus improving the appearance of food and the utilization rate of raw materials.


It can be used to install window glass, curtain wall, window frame, joint of prefabricated board and expansion joint of airport runway. In addition, it can also be used as the adhesive for the magnetic core and the template in the computer memory, as well as the adhesive for the conductive silicone rubber and the non-conductive silicone rubber. The handle, softness and abrasion resistance of the fabric can be improved by treating the fabric with methyl block RTV silicone rubber.
