For making soap moulds, in fact, we all recommend that professional soap makers use thick soft Silicone rubber moulds to make soap. However, it involves a daily maintenance of Silicone rubber molds, to discuss.

If the Silicone rubber mould is not used after demoulding, it is better to soak the remaining soap solution in warm water for 10 minutes to dissolve, so that it can be washed by gentle hand rubbing. Don't rush to clean, scrape with other hard objects to avoid damaging the surface. Also suitable for soaking water is acrylic soap stamp.

After cleaning, it dries naturally and stores directly in cartons. Some stores have cartons and plastic bags for each single model, which is very good. It can avoid extrusion and save space. Finally, the mold packed in the box is placed in a cool ventilated place or in a sealed box. Toast moulds with wooden boxes are much easier to store.

Some pigments will dye the Silicone rubber mould, especially natural pigments. It's better to wash them immediately after use. If the color can't be washed out, it will be lighter if exposed to light for a day or two, and then the color will not be used.

If the mould has not been used for more than 10 days, please wash it with soap water + soft cotton cloth before use, or soak it in warm water for 30 minutes to dry before use, in order to avoid the effect of souring on your soap. If there is heavy dirt, try to wipe with alcohol spray.

Silicone rubber moulds are not recommended for refrigeration. Please wait patiently until soap hardens.

If you are in a hurry to release the mold and ice into the refrigerator, please remember to wait for the mold to de-ice after taking it out. Especially for the 3D model silicone mold with smaller caliber than body shape, such as "sleeping children wearing hats", because the caliber should be slightly pulled apart when demoulding. If the silicone gel hardens after refrigeration, the demoulding will easily cause tearing.

If there is a crack in the 3D silicone mould, it is no use to repair it. Please pay more attention to it.
