High temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is sold in the form of raw rubber or vulcanizate. Generally, it is made into rubber materials with various characteristics for users to choose. According to different characteristics, it can be divided into the following categories:

(1) General type (general strength type). Composed of vinyl silicone rubber and reinforcing agent, the physical properties of vulcanizate are medium, and it is a kind of compound with the largest amount and the strongest versatility.
(2) High strength type. Vinyl silicone rubber or low phenyl silicone rubber were used to improve the cross-linking structure and tear strength by adding suitable processing aids and special additives, using fumed silica or modified silica with larger specific surface area as reinforcing agent.
(3) High temperature resistant type. Using vinyl silicone rubber or low phenyl silicone rubber, the type of reinforcing agent and heat-resistant additives can be properly selected to produce silicone rubber with high temperature resistance of 300-350 C.
(4) Low temperature type. Using low phenyl silicone rubber, the brittleness temperature reaches - 120 C, and it still has elasticity at - 90 C.
(5) Low compression permanent deformation. Vinyl silicone rubber is mainly used, and organic peroxide for vinyl is used as vulcanizing agent. When the compression rate is 30%, the permanent deformation of the silicone rubber is 7.0%-15% after 24-72 hours compression at 150 C (20%-30% of the ordinary silicone rubber).
(6) Wire and cable type. Vinyl silicone rubber is mainly used, and fumed silica with good electrical insulation is selected as reinforcing agent, which has good extrusion process performance.
(7) Oil-resistant and solvent-resistant. Ammonia silicone rubber is mainly used, which is generally divided into two categories: general purpose type and high strength type.
(8) Flame retardant. Vinyl silicone rubber with halogen or platinum compound as flame retardant has good flame resistance.
(9) Conductive type. Using vinyl silicone rubber, acetylene carbon black or metal powder as filler and high temperature vulcanization or moulding vulcanization method, silicone rubber with volume resistivity of 2.0-100_.cm can be obtained.
(10) heat shrinkage type. The thermal shrinkage of vinyl silicone rubber can reach 35%-50% by adding thermoplastic material with certain melting or softening temperature. No secondary vulcanization type is needed. Vinyl silicone rubber with high ethylene content was prepared by controlling the pH value of raw rubber and compounding agent and adding special additives.
(11) sponge type. A uniform foaming sponge can be prepared by adding organic blowing agents such as nitroso compounds, azo and diazo compounds into vinyl silicone rubber. In addition, there are heat conductive silicone rubber, fluorescent silicone rubber and medical grade mixtures sold abroad. With the continuous development of the use of silicone rubber, the varieties and brands of rubber materials are increasing, too many brands will cause confusion in production, storage, transportation and sales. Some factories have separated several varieties into several typical base rubber and several characteristic additives (including pigments, vulcanizers, etc.) for sale. Users can get the final product by mixing them with a certain formula and mixing technology according to their needs. This method not only makes the variety simple and clear, but also enhances the competitiveness with large batch production, stable quality and low cost.
