In agricultural production, farmers often encounter such troubles: they have sprayed enough pesticides and foliar fertilizers, but the effect is not satisfactory. Is it because of poor quality of the pesticides or wrong usage? In fact, in the process of pesticides and fertilizers taking effect, there is an "invisible promoter" that is crucial - agricultural silicone surfactants. It may seem inconspicuous, but it can make agricultural investment more effective.
Agricultural organosilicon surfactants are highly effective adjuvants developed specifically for the agricultural sector. Their most prominent feature is their extremely low surface tension. The surface tension of ordinary aqueous solutions is usually around 72mN/m, while the surface tension of solutions prepared with agricultural organosilicon surfactants can drop sharply to 21mN/m or even lower. This feature is like installing an "accelerator engine" on the drug solution, allowing the drug solution to spread and penetrate quickly.
With good spreading properties, it can quickly spread the liquid medicine on the leaves of plants or the body of pests to form a uniform film. Imagine that after ordinary liquid medicine is sprayed, the droplets may roll and slide like water drops on lotus leaves, making it difficult to cover the entire surface; while the liquid medicine with added silicone surfactants will be like a "spread" thin blanket, adhering to a large area of the target surface. At the same time, its strong permeability can help the liquid medicine break through the cuticle and wax layer on the surface of plant leaves, as well as the epidermal structure of pests, allowing the active ingredients to reach the "lesion" directly and take effect.
