The most important properties of fluorosilicone oil are lubricity and solvent resistance.



Compared with dimethyl silicone oil, chlorophenyl silicone oil and mineral oil, the lubricity of fluorosilicone oil exceeds that of chlorophenyl silicone oil and is much better than that of dimethyl silicone oil, and even better than that of mineral oil under high load conditions. Fluorosilicone grease can be prepared by adding thickeners, stabilizers and modified additives, and is used in fields that require higher wear resistance and solvent resistance than methyl silicone oil and phenyl silicone oil. This type of grease can resist various hydrocarbon solvents, strong acids (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid), corrosive gases, rocket fuels and oxidizers, and has very good heat resistance, dielectric properties, oxidation resistance, and little change in consistency over a wide temperature range, and little change in electrical properties.

It can be used as a lubricant for vacuum pumps that handle chemical reaction gases, lubrication of bearings in extremely low and high temperature environments, and as a grease base oil for the watch industry and micro-mechanical industry. It is chemically inert to fuels and other chemicals, can be used in steam power circulation systems, and can also be used to make release agents. It has good anti-stickiness and lubricity, does not corrode molds, and is non-toxic and safe.
