Export Market of Silicone Rubber Products Industry in China

A large part of the products in China's silicone rubber products industry are used for export. Because of the advantages of human power cost and production cost, domestic silicone rubber products enterprises have huge advantages when competing with foreign counterparts, which can only hinder the normal production of the situation before.
When it comes to exports, we have to mention a region - Rizhao.
From January to November 2017, Rizhao exported 446 batches of silica gel products, weighing 13.6 million tons, with a value of 11.466 million U.S. dollars, up 18.6%, 24.0% and 72.4% year on year, respectively. The volume of trade increased substantially. The products were mainly exported to Asian countries such as Korea, Japan, India, Vietnam and European countries such as Britain, France and Germany. There are 36 countries and regions.
It is understood that the Rizhao jurisdiction began to export silicone rubber in 2009. The annual export weight and value increased from 1,000 tons and 799,000 US dollars to over 10,000 tons and over 10 million US dollars. There are three main types of silica gel products for export, two of which are mainly used as industrial desiccants and the other as pet products. In order to help the silica gel enterprises in the jurisdiction further expand their exports, Rizhao Inspection and Quarantine Bureau actively docked the needs of enterprises, strengthened the interpretation of technical trade measures and guidance of technical standards, and promoted enterprises to continuously improve product quality and enhance the international competitiveness of products.
