The incorporation of ethyl groups disrupts the crystallization properties of traditional silicone rubber, resulting in enhanced low-temperature resistance. With a glass transition temperature as low as -147°C, it exhibits the best low-temperature performance among silicone rubbers, making it one of the most suitable materials for extreme cold environments.
