In recent years, significant progress has been made in the research and development of solid silicone rubber. Its odorless, non-toxic, heat-resistant, and cold-resistant properties allow silicone rubber to maintain its strength and elasticity under high and low temperatures. These characteristics make silicone rubber the preferred material for numerous industrial applications.
Currently, research on solid foamed silicone rubber in China is still relatively scarce. Therefore, studying the foaming process of solid silicone rubber and preparing high-performance solid foamed silicone rubber is crucial. Scientists have conducted research on the foaming process of solid silicone rubber under low (120β) and high (180β) temperatures, and modified silicone rubber by adding organic montmorillonite (MMT) at high temperatures.
Furthermore, adding different proportions of thermally conductive materials such as GO and FGO can significantly increase the thermal conductivity of silicone rubber. These studies have not only broadened the application fields of silicone rubber but also provided new pathways for improving its performance and reducing costs.
