The molding process of solid silicone rubber primarily involves high-temperature molding, with extrusion as a secondary method. During the molding process, the raw material is a solid block of silicone rubber. After being mixed in a mixer, the material is cut to an appropriate size and thickness for the product and mold, then placed in the mold and pressed at a certain temperature in a molding machine. When demolding, it is similar to plastic products, requiring mold cleaning.
Solid silicone rubber has excellent transparency and high tear strength (≥35N/mm). It also demonstrates good elasticity, resistance to yellowing and thermal aging, maintaining stable performance under various harsh environments. Additionally, solid silicone rubber has excellent dust resistance and processing properties, meeting the diverse needs of different industries for silicone products.
