1. Methyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber
Methyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is an old variety of general silicone rubber. It has the advantages of water resistance, ozone resistance, arc resistance, corona resistance and climate aging resistance. It can be used in a temperature range of 60 - 200 C. Therefore, it is widely used as filling and sealing materials for electronic and electrical components, moisture-proof, shock-proof, high and low temperature-resistant filling and sealing materials for instruments and meters. It can also be used to make moulds, casting polyester resin, epoxy resin and low melting point alloy parts. It can also be used as dental impression material. 2. Methyl diphenyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber
In addition to the excellent properties of methyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, methyl biphenyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber has a wider temperature range (-100-250 C) than methyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber. Low phenyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (108-1) with phenyl content of 2.5-5% can keep elasticity at low temperature of - 120 C. It is one of the best varieties of silicone rubber at medium and low temperature at present. Room temperature rubber (108-2) with phenyl content of 10-20% has good radiation resistance, ablation resistance and self-extinguishing resistance, if a certain amount of resistance is added to it. Thermal additives, such as Fe2O3, can improve the thermal aging properties. They are suitable for use at high temperatures above 250 C or as ablative putty coatings and encapsulation materials.
Like other room temperature adhesives, methyl phenyl room temperature adhesives can be used for impregnation, impression and film removal. Methyl block room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is a modified variety of methyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber. It is a copolymer of polydimethylsiloxane (107 gum) with hydroxyl head and methyl triethoxysilane oligomer (molecular weight 3-5). Under the catalysis of tin dibutyldilaurate, hydroxyl groups in polydimethylsiloxane and ethoxyl groups in polymethyltriethoxysilane condense to form a three-way structure polymer. The elastomer after vulcanization has higher mechanical strength and adhesion than that of methyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, and can be used for a long time in the temperature range of 170-200 C. Methyl block room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber has shockproof, moisture proof, waterproof, breathable, ozone resistance, weather aging resistance, weak acid and alkali resistance. Its electrical insulation performance is very good, but also has a good bonding, and low cost. Therefore, it can be widely used in encapsulation, coating, impression, demoulding, drug delivery and other occasions. The electronic components sealed with methyl block room temperature glue have the functions of shock proof, moisture proof, sealing, insulation and stabilization of various parameters. 4. Room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber
Room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is a kind of poly(beta-nitrile ethyl methyl siloxane). In addition to its light resistance, ozone resistance, moisture resistance, high and low temperature resistance and excellent electrical insulation properties, room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is characterized by its good resistance to non-polar solvents such as aliphatic and aromatic solvents, and its oil resistance is better than that of ordinary oil resistant nitrile butadiene rubber. 5. Room temperature vulcanized fluorosilicone rubber
Room temperature vulcanized fluorosilicone rubber (RTVR) is a kind of poly (gamma-trifluoropropyl methyl siloxane). Its main characteristics are fuel oil resistance, solvent resistance, high temperature degradation resistance and good extrusion performance. It is mainly used for sealing and seaming of supersonic aircraft integral fuel tank, bonding and fixing of fluorosilicone rubber gasket and gasket, bonding of silicone rubber and fluorosilicone rubber, as well as chemical engineering and general industrial fuel oil, bonding of solvent-resistant parts.
6. Room temperature vulcanized styrene silicone rubber
Room temperature vulcanized phenylene silicone rubber is a silicone benzene (biphenyl) siloxane polymer. Its outstanding advantage is its excellent radiation resistance. Experiments show that the elasticity of rubber can be maintained after irradiation by 1X109 roentgen gamma-ray or 1xl018 neutron/cm 2, which is 10-15 times larger than room temperature vulcanized methyl silicone rubber and 5-10 times larger than room temperature vulcanized phenyl silicone rubber.
