1、 Introduction to Silicone Rubber
Silicone rubber is the largest category of organic silicone products, which is an elemental organic elastomer obtained by hydrolysis and condensation of various dichlorosilane compounds. Thermal vulcanization type (high-temperature vulcanized silicone HTV) and room temperature vulcanization type (RTV), among which room temperature vulcanization type is further divided into polycondensation reaction type and addition reaction type. High temperature silicone rubber is mainly used to manufacture various silicone rubber products, while room temperature silicone rubber is mainly used as an adhesive, sealing material, or mold. The heat vulcanization type has the highest usage, which can be further divided into methyl silicone rubber (MQ), methyl vinyl silicone rubber (VMQ, with the highest usage and product grade), methyl vinyl phenyl silicone rubber PVMQ (low temperature and radiation resistance), and other types such as fluorosilicone rubber.

1. Characteristics of silicone rubber
The molecular structure of organic silicon (polydimethylsiloxane) is mainly composed of siloxane bonds, and its structure is very stable. Therefore, compared with ordinary organic rubber, organic silicon compounds have many beneficial characteristics, such as heat resistance, electrical insulation, chemical stability, etc.

Due to the helical structure of organic silicon, the intermolecular forces are very small, so organic silicon has good elasticity, scalability, cold resistance, and so on. In addition, due to the free rotation of methyl groups located on the outer side of the helical structure, organic silicon can also exert many unique surface characteristics, such as waterproofing and demolding properties.

2. Processing process of silicone rubber
Blended rubber is made by adding silicone rubber raw rubber to a double roller rubber mixer or a closed kneading machine, gradually adding white carbon black, silicone oil, and other additives for repeated refining. The performance of silicone varies depending on the added fillers and additives.
