Germany does not have smart phones, laptops, tablets, chip manufacturing and packaging, LCD panels, aero engines, the Internet industry, and an independent aerospace industry. There are few industries in Japan, such as satellite navigation, civil aviation airliner, aeroengine, smart phone chip design, communication equipment, UAV, etc.
On the scale of China's industry, President Liu cited China's major achievements in the Internet, satellite navigation, cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and other aspects in recent years. President Liu said: China and the United States are the only countries with large scale in Internet and satellite navigation. China ranks second in the world and is far ahead of Europe and Japan. In terms of cloud computing, according to the report released by Deutsche Bank in May 2016, Alibaba in China, Amazon and Microsoft in the United States rank among the top three in the world. In China, in addition to Alibaba cloud, Tencent cloud, baidu cloud, Huawei cloud, etc., are also ahead of Europe and Japan. Cloud computing greatly reduces the hardware and software costs of the software industry, improves the reliability of data, and enables people to build web applications faster and better.
With regard to "China's rapid industrial growth", President Liu shared several sets of data: in 2013, China's GDP reached US $9.24 trillion, including US $4.24 trillion of industrial output, more than the sum of us and German industrial output; China's industrial output of 220 products ranked first in the world, with 39 industrial categories, 191 medium categories and 525 small categories, the only one in the world It is estimated that in 2025, China's industrial output value will exceed the sum of all developed countries.
