Application notice of online course program of McGill University in summer 2020
In order to further improve the international exchange level of our students and cultivate high-quality talents with international vision and international competitiveness, our summer online course project of McGill University of Canada in 2020 is now accepted for registration. The project is sponsored by Xiang Fei education, a formal institution contracted by Beijing Forestry University. Please apply for participation actively.

1、 Project registration process
_1. Students who are interested in this project should consult Xiangfei consulting teachers in the early stage.
2. After the students determine the intention of the project, follow the steps below:
Before the school officially starts:
(1) Fill in the application form of long-term and short-term exchange project of students from the official website of international exchange and Cooperation Office of Beijing Forestry University Download Center Beijing Forestry University http://international.bjfu.edu.cn/xzzx/252969.html download form;
(2) Send the electronic version of the application form to the student counselor to request the college to review and seal it. After the review, the student will send the electronic version of the application form to Mr. Zhan in the international office at zhanshu0805@bjfu.edu.cn
(3) After passing the examination, the International Department will inform the students that they can register and pay for it in Xiangfei.
After the school officially opens:
(1) Students are on the official website of international exchange and Cooperation Office of Beijing Forestry University - studying abroad - Application System for studying abroad (http://cas.bjfu.edu.cn/cas/login? Renew = true & amp; Service = http://202.204.121.170/web) to apply (the account password is the same as that of digital Beilin, and it is not necessary to upload the attachment). After submitting the application, print the application form to the school for signature and seal, and then submit the application form to Mr. Meng, 322 international office.
The main project is the short-term exchange project of 2020-2021 academic year, and the subproject is the d202001 Xiangfei short-term exchange project
(2) After passing the examination, the International Department will inform the students that they can register and pay for it in Xiangfei.

2、 Project content
_1. Application conditions
(1) Full time students in our school, with excellent performance and good conduct
(2) CET4 500 +, or CET6 470 +, or TOEFL 79 +, or IELTS 6.5+
(3) Track of artificial intelligence, big data and machine learning suggests students have relevant professional basis
2. Project period
(1) Course duration: July 27, 2020 to August 21, 2020
(2) The class time is 2.5 hours each on the first, third and fifth day of each week, 7.5 hours each week, and the whole process of the project is 30 hours.
Most of the courses provide two periods for students in different time zones to choose, and students participating in the course can select the time suitable for their own class in advance.

3. Curriculum and optional subjects
(1) Curriculum
McGill University's Summer online academic program includes nine tracks, each with two courses. In the summer of 2020, students will complete the first course ("1st course") in track online, and obtain learning certificates and transcripts. If students are willing to further study, they can apply to participate in the offline supporting follow-up courses held in the winter of 2021 to complete the second course in track ("2nd course"). Students who have completed the 2nd course can further choose to participate in the last experience week of the course, which includes lectures or seminars related to the course theme, Montreal cultural experience, French basic courses, tasting local food, and even visiting surrounding cities. Students can only sign up for the online course of "1st course" or the online + offline course of "1st course" + "2nd course". Certificates and transcripts are available for each course.

(1) Project study fees
1st course: $1040
1st + 2nd course: $2380 (Aerospace track: $2680)
Collected by McGill University and paid by Xiangfei. Including course fee, course management fee, international student fee, certificate / transcript international mailing fee, etc. The actual amount of tuition and fees is subject to the bill issued by McGill University.
(2) Project management fee
1st course: RMB 2000
1st + 2nd course: RMB 3000
It is charged by global Xiangfei education group, including course consultation, teaching assistant learning management fee, project application fee and other related services.
Note: students applying for Xiangfei cooperative school are exempt from project management fee.
