It has completely and systematically preserved the development vein of ancient Chinese art, especially Buddhism art, which has irreplaceable significance and value for the inheritance and innovation of Chinese art. However, the selfless dedication of the previous artists is full It shows the lofty spirit of sticking to the desert, being willing to make contributions, being brave to take responsibility and pioneering; the Chinese art of the whole 20th century has an inseparable relationship with Dunhuang. It can be called "Dunhuang complex of Chinese art". It is precisely because the northwest cultural resources attract a batch of artists to enter the northwest, go deep into the northwest, and take root in the northwest, thus causing the northwest region and even modern Chinese art to favor the tradition.
In the lecture, Professor Tian Weige, combined with his own research experience and creative experience, and his thoughts on the development of Dunhuang University, introduced and exchanged Dunhuang Art and its inheritance in a humorous, affectionate and interactive way, and vividly demonstrated the brilliance and modern inheritance of Dunhuang art. Through this academic exchange, the teachers and students of Nanjing Forestry University have a deeper understanding of the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional art, as well as a deeper understanding of the art creation, modern inheritance and research mode led by traditional art.
