Course introduction:
Special park is a unique type of urban green space system. The promotion of small and medium-sized parks with special characteristics can improve the quality of urban landscape and effectively stimulate regional vitality. In the autumn semester of 2019, the landscape design course of Liangxi class, grade 17 of the school of landscape architecture, selected the Beisha beach area in Haidian District of Beijing as the "white space and green space" to guide students through the preliminary process of comprehensive environmental analysis, problem sorting, and functional integration, combined with the concept placement and refining of the special public garden theme from the perspective of the designer, to finally form a theme with clear characteristics and complete and reasonable functions City Park.
The design site is adjacent to Xiaoyue River in the west, Beijing Tibet Expressway in the East, Beisha station of metro line 15 in the south, with a planning area of 7.1 mm?, about 340 m long from the east to the West and an average length of about 280 m from the south to the north. The plot was once densely covered with illegal buildings, which was the gathering place for group rental houses. At present, the plot has become a section of the reconstruction project of wedge green shantytown of Jingchang Road, which is planned to be a wedge green land of about 7km long in the future, and provide recreation places for the proposed science and Technology Park and the houses to be moved back.

Ginkgo + Chen Lu
The site is located at Beisha beach subway station, adjacent to Beijing Tibet high line, and is located as a special botanical garden. Based on the site analysis and upper planning, Ginkgo biloba was selected as the theme in the design, and the concept of Ginkgo + was proposed, that is, through the cooperation of Ginkgo biloba and other plants or sites, a variety of recreational spaces were formed, which not only reflected the theme of Ginkgo biloba, but also effectively made up for the inadequacy of single family and genus.
Midsummer night Symphony
The theme of the scheme is "singing insects + sound scene", which is integrated into the local historical characteristics of the North Beach, making it a landmark urban park in the region, and providing a rich and interesting recreational place for the local residents. As a special kind of park for singing insects and sound scenery, a large number of feeding plants of singing insects are planted to create a singing insect habitat. There are four types of warblers: arboreal, shrub, herbivorous and terrestrial. Based on this, four kinds of planting forms are designed in the garden. In addition, from the point of interest, four kinds of walking paths are designed, which are sparse forest grassland, dense forest, waterfront and air corridor, to provide users with a variety of viewing angles and routes. It is hoped that the public will deepen their understanding of the culture, protect their habitats and share the midsummer night symphony.
Forest construction of North Beach habitat City
Tian Qi Hu
In response to the call of Beijing Forest City, the habitat type urban forest is planned to be built in the site. According to the division of primary habitat and secondary forest habitat, the site will be constructed as a comprehensive park with both forest landscape and wetland landscape, providing suitable habitat for birds and other animals and plants, and taking full account of the benefits of science education. In addition, the design fully considered the surrounding environment and the moving line of tourists, set up a landscape bridge running through the East and West, across the East Qinghua road and connected with the green corridor of Xiaoyue River; the design also considered the ecological sustainability, adopted artificial soil infiltration measures for ecological water purification, and realized the internal collection and digestion of rainwater.
Xin Haoru
The butterfly was selected as the research object. The main butterflies were papilidae and common Pieris rapae in Beijing. The host plants of papilidae are mainly Rutaceae and Aristolochia, and the corresponding butterfly habitats are set up in the park based on this. The design hopes to close the distance between people, butterflies and nature through the construction of special gardens, and create various theme gardens through various types of plant collocation, so as to form a theme area with healthy and nourishing functions, so that the park not only has the basic function of serving the normal people, but also reflects the care for the marginal people, and promotes landscape equity.
Water forest
Metasequoia glyptostroboides is a rare relict plant in the world. It has strong phototropism and adaptability to environmental conditions. The park hopes to establish a park in the city with Metasequoia as the main ornamental plant, integrating science popularization, tourism and species conservation, so as to create an interactive viewing and rest experience. The garden is composed of four "hills", namely "Metasequoia hill", "terrace hill", "Garden Hill" and "Paradise hill". It combines Metasequoia forest with wetland, small puddle and small hill to build a Metasequoia park with various atmosphere.
Qicao ink Wang Yuzhuo
The design is characterized by all kinds of ornamental grasses. Four kinds of Chinese painting techniques are used to arrange different forms of ornamental grasses. The park is divided into four scenic spots from west to East, i.e. ink breaking, ink falling, ink splashing and ink accumulating. The purpose of the design is to use traditional painting techniques to show plants with different textures and create an urban park with artistic atmosphere.
Spring in the city, Meng and Han
Based on the theme of urban constructed wetland ecosystem, combined with the rich historical background of the site, the design is positioned as "urban constructed wetland ecological purification system with the context of retrospection of urban history". By imitating the three stages of swamp succession in the natural environment, the green land and other functional sites are connected in series, and the connection between the park boundary and Xiaoyuehe river is stitched up, so as to intervene artificially Methods to repair the problems of urban water pollution, ecosystem fragmentation, tightening of animal habitat, urban historical abandonment, etc., and use the artificial ecosystem to transform the ruins left by the demolition of villages in the city into green habitats in the city.
Happy Spring
With peach blossom as the theme, the landscape description in the story of peach blossom source is taken as a symbol of a better life and guides the construction of design atmosphere. In the design, the abundant germplasm resources of peach blossom were used reasonably, and its classical cultural connotation was deeply understood. For example, in combination with the air supply corridor and the environment of the University residential area, different peach blossom varieties are combined with cultural image areas such as "peach blossom outside the bamboo", "farewell by Wang Lun", "peach garden friendship", "peach and plum all over the world", so as to create a rich landscape area with meaningful cultural connotation.
Zhu Xun
The theme of the design is water birds, ducks and geese habitat and children's popular science and entertainment. Shallow streams, wetlands and water bodies are set up in the site to create a continuous ecosystem for birds, so that birds have both foraging area and breeding area in the park. The design adopts active formal language, and sets up a suitable area for children's activities, hoping that children and birds can find a harmonious coexistence environment in the site. In terms of ecology, the surface rainwater runoff is collected through the shaping of micro topography, and purified by aquatic plants. The purified rainwater is sent to Xiaoyue River from the gate on the west side of the park, forming a water cycle.
"Second breath" -- in memory of regeneration in nature
Fu Bo Wen
In history, the North Beach has a large area of water, and the pool is at the bottom of the sand. Every dry season, a large area of beach is exposed. The design extracts the texture of the site from the historical photos, and then generates an organic anti curved line after Abstract reorganization. The park is oriented as a science park for the public. With the theme of "regeneration", it selects environmental protection plants (pioneer plants, sound insulation plants, water purification plants, health plants) to construct the narrative main line. People enter from a sunken Valley at the city interface, gradually isolated from the city overhead, and the soil and pioneer plants gradually appear. Finally, through the "cave", the vast water surface is displayed to the eyes. At this point, we have finally completed the second breath from the city to the nature, and we can embrace the regenerative prosperity again.
River Valley, flower sea, Cao Xuqing
Two aspects are considered in the design. First, as an urban park, the area needs to meet the needs of urban people for the use of the site and carry a variety of social activities, such as popular science education, transportation distribution, landscape tourism, children's activities, etc. Second, as a special flower garden, the site is mainly planted with herbaceous flowers, which are sampled from the plant population and community of Baihua Mountain in Beijing. It is hoped that the local flowers can reflect the unique regional characteristics, and form an urban park suitable for all seasons, rich in landscape and full of interest.
Dianshui Garden
With the theme of ecology, build a special park for science education and tourism activities suitable for Dragonfly life. Four habitats for Dragonfly life should be built while ensuring residents' commuting needs. According to the water and mountains (5m), four environments of dragonflies are created, i.e. plain, stream, shoal and mountain. They are suitable for different dragonflies, establish life circle of dragonflies, and match with ornamental plants.
Dong Liwei, cherry garden
With cherry blossom as the main body, a comprehensive urban open space system is designed to meet the requirements of regional sustainable development. Based on the use of Bermudagrass in the fruit forest, the nodular roots were used to improve the alkaline soil (the nitrogen fixing bacteria in nodular roots release hydrogen ions in the synthesis of ammonium nitrogen, which makes the pH value of rhizosphere soil decrease). It can avoid competition with other ground cover plants. There are four ways to avoid trampling on the soil: 1. Laying pebbles; 2. Blocking with shrubs; 3. Making the soil surface higher than the human activity interface; 4. Making the soil surface lower than the human activity interface.
For fun - aromatic Botanical Garden
Hu Ning Ning
It is designed as a special aromatic plant garden, which can enhance people's sense of smell to obtain the interest of sightseeing, relieve the pressure of urban people, and relieve the current situation of crowded people in the area. Displays aromas of trees, shrubs, aromatic herbs, aromatic liana and aromatic aquatic plants, and combines with natural landscapes to create different tastes. The fragrant four seasons in the central part aims to create the four seasons smell area; the fragrant Valley Bridge in the East, where you can see the fragrance of poplar and smell the Paulownia; the fragrant lianas give you a sense of quietness; the waterfront landscape in the west side, combined with the landscape bridge extending from the Street, gives you a good view and creates a street view at the same time.
Haitang Zhichun Wu Yaxuan
Begonia is a famous flower with elegant appearance and beautiful flowers. It has been known as "the fairy in the flower", "the princess of the flower" and "the noble flower". The design hopes to build a special garden of Begonia for the public to understand and feel the beauty of Begonia. And because there are many schools around the site, it is hoped to build a special children's science education park with Begonia theme here. The garden is divided into six zones: Begonia flower Valley, Begonia flower stream, Begonia flower path, Begonia chunwu, Begonia Chunwang and Begonia Chunzhi. In terms of function, it is divided into open activity area, planting experience area, plant cognition area, outdoor classroom area and hiking area to meet the daily activities and outdoor learning needs of surrounding residents and children.
Ni Lingshan, Mulan Garden
The design is mainly based on Magnoliaceae plants, combined with cultural themes such as "yutangchunfugui", mainly selects Magnolia and Liriodendron plants of Magnoliaceae for matching planting, and sets up a special botanical garden for Magnolia plant display and cultural education rendering combined with the terrain.
Echoing Zhang Yinli
At present, as a "air supply corridor" in Beijing, the site provides fresh air for the urban area. The design draws inspiration from the "wind corridor", uses natural elements to create a sound scene, uses plant elements to create a sound scene, takes sound as the design focus, and extracts elements such as "pine sound", "bamboo sound", "water sound", "insects sound", "birds cry", "human voice", so as to make the North Beach Park full of sound The interest of music.
