Application of liquid rubber injection molding method

Hits: 537 img

Liquid rubber injection molding is a common manufacturing process commonly used to produce various rubber products, such as seals, gaskets, sealing rings, etc. The basic principle of this method is to inject heated liquid rubber into the mold through pressure, then cool and solidify in the mold, ultimately forming the required parts.

The following are the general steps of liquid rubber injection molding method:

Mold design and preparation: The first step is to design and manufacture a mold for injection molding, which should meet the shape and size requirements of the final product. Meanwhile, ensure that the surface of the mold is smooth and able to withstand injection pressure.
Rubber material preparation: Select suitable liquid rubber materials and prepare the required materials according to the formula.
Heating rubber material: Heat the rubber material to an appropriate temperature to create a flowing state for injection into the mold.
Injection molding: Inject heated liquid rubber into the mold, ensuring that the rubber fills all spaces of the mold through pressure and there are no bubbles or voids.
Cooling and curing: Cooling and curing liquid rubber in a mold is usually achieved by lowering the temperature or adding a curing agent.
Demolding and post-treatment: After the rubber has solidified, the finished product is taken out of the mold and necessary post-treatment processes are carried out, such as trimming the edges, cleaning the surface, etc.
The liquid rubber injection molding method has the advantages of high precision, high production efficiency, and short molding cycle, so it has been widely used in industrial production.
