Reasons for Bubbles in Silicone Rubber Products

1. Short vulcanization time: The length of vulcanization time determines whether silicone rubber products can be completely vulcanized. If the vulcanization time is too short, it will not only cause the silicone rubber product to become soft after molding, but also cause surface bubbles;

2. Low vulcanization temperature: In the molding process of silicone rubber products, the vulcanization temperature is usually set at 160200 degrees Celsius. Excessive external operation time of the mold or other reasons may cause the mold to not be heated in the vulcanizing machine for a long time. The temperature of the mold is different from that of silicone rubber products. If it is too low, it will cause bubbles to form in silicone rubber products after molding;

3. High vulcanization temperature: When the molding temperature is too high, the silicone rubber material on the surface has begun to form during the clamping and pressing process, and the internal air is trapped inside and difficult to discharge, which can also cause molding bubbles;

4. Unreasonable mold structure: The unreasonable design of the molding mold used for silicone resin products can also cause bubbles in the molding of silicone rubber products. For example, the arrangement, division method, mold splitting method, and mold size design of products in molds will all lead to poor bubbles;

5. Insufficient exhaust volume: After putting the silicone rubber product raw materials into the molding mold, air will be introduced and cannot be integrated with the silicone rubber raw materials. If air is not discharged, bubbles will form on the surface of silicone rubber products after molding.
