Under the situation of national anti epidemic situation, the mixing center of Northwest rubber and plastics research and Design Institute was built and put into operation not long ago. After resumption of production, it began to take orders from customers, with a daily output of more than 20 tons. The industrial layout of Northwest rubber and plastics research and Design Institute was optimized and upgraded.
The mixing center has a strong production capacity, with an annual production capacity of 5000 tons. Two K4 mark5 internal mixers of Farrel company in the UK are introduced, equipped with GS200 gear pump filter device of TROESTER company in Germany, and two automatic internal mixing production lines with weighing, internal mixing, filtering, cooling, cutting and packaging are built. According to the demand of light colored rubber and small batch of special rubber, there are also 3 kneading production lines and more than 20 open mills for various types of tests.
The technology development ability of the mixing center is strong. At present, there are more than 1000 kinds of mature formulas, which can provide customers with solutions from rubber formula to production process. Rubber compounds developed and produced include five categories: military rubber, automobile sealing strip rubber, electrical equipment and electrical insulation rubber, tunnel waterproof engineering rubber, rail transit high-speed rail sound barrier rubber, oil field rubber, as well as rubber materials and functional materials for special purposes such as temperature resistance rubber, burning resistance rubber, heat conduction rubber, special media resistance rubber.
