Global Silicone News: Recently, the National Bureau of Statistics announced the Strategic Emerging Industries Classification (2018) (NBS Decree No. 23) (hereinafter referred to as the Industrial Classification). Industrial Classification refines and improves the catalogue of new materials industry, which marks the basic formation of the statistical system of new materials industry. The new material industry catalogue of Industrial Classification includes seven fields: advanced steel materials, advanced non-ferrous metal materials, advanced petrochemical and chemical materials, advanced inorganic non-metallic materials, high-performance fibers and products, composite materials, advanced new materials and new materials related services. It covers high-performance bearing steel processing, high-tech marine steel processing and high-strength cold-rolled plate processing for automobiles. There are 166 sub-categories, including new-type aluminium alloy manufacturing, special material manufacturing for metal additives manufacturing, research and development of new materials and design services, among which 135 sub-categories have been added. The author noticed that silicone materials such as silicone ring fabrication, synthetic silicone material fabrication, fluorosilicone synthetic material fabrication, fluorosilicone synthetic rubber fabrication and other silicone materials were included. Silicone industry "money road" in the application, will welcome the support policy.
